Berlin (dpa) – The third division football club Viktoria Berlin, which has been hit by numerous corona infections, wants to find its rhythm again with training games between the compulsory tasks. Four days after the away game at Wehen-Wiesbaden on Saturday (2:00 p.m./Magentasport), the promoted team will welcome the Berlin league club SV Empor Berlin to a test next Wednesday. The game will be played in the small stadium of the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark, kick-off is at 7:00 p.m., as Viktoria announced.
The team was able to train with 15 players for the first time this year and is currently not reaching the level required for the third division, as Viktoria coach Benedetto Muzzicato said after the bitter 6-0 home defeat against Eintracht Braunschweig on Wednesday evening. Muzzicato wants to set new impulses with training and friendlies so that the team regains its belief in its own victories.
