Deadly dispute among football fans!
A clash broke out between rival fan groups in the Greek port city of Thessaloniki. A 19-year-old was fatally stabbed. Two other young men were injured in the incident.
During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the three men were walking near the stadium of PAE Aris Thessaloniki when a car pulled up next to them. At least one inmate is said to have first uttered wild insults against the club and then attacked the three with a knife.
The 19-year-old was fatally injured. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The other two were taken to hospital with head and chest injuries but are not life-threatening. This is reported by the Greek portal “Thestival”.
According to media reports, the police have already arrested 15 suspects.
The club reacted in shock, saying on the club’s website: “At dawn, some cold-blooded killers decided to take the life of a 19-year-old boy because he was an ARIS fan.
“Unthinkable! It’s not in our minds! Because he was an ARIS fan, some cold-blooded killers decided to take his life. My god why? My God, what happens?”

Not the first fatal incident. Two years ago, a Bulgarian fan was killed by PAOK supporters in Thessaloniki. PAOK and PAE Aris are the two top clubs in town. Fan clashes happen again and again. This once again ended fatally.
