NTT is the gold sponsor of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which began on Friday, July 23. 2 Watching sailing

Sailing competitions are played off the coast a few kilo miles from the ground, so traditionally spectators used binoculars to watch them. In the sailing competitions of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, using 5G (fifth generation mobile communication system) and ultra-high-presence communication technology Kirari!, the competition video was projected on the ultra-wide screen in the Enoshima venue, and the same video was transmitted to Tokyo Big Sight, and the same video was transmitted to Tokyo Big Sight to bring a sense of realism to media professionals.

Badminton was held from July 30 to August 2. NTT has provided “ultra-low latency communication technology” to the Tokyo 2020 Real-Time Remote Support Project, which was held by the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games at a marathon event held in Sapporo on August 7 and 8, 2021, delivering the support of the people of Tokyo to marathoners in Sapporo in real time.

5 Operational support

Barrier-free app, CUzo, heat protection, high efficiency Wi-Fi

As technology in terms of operation support, barrier-free application, functional distributed communication technology: CUzo, heat countermeasure wear, high-efficiency Wi-Fi, etc. will be introduced. Specifically, technology using MaPiece, a barrier-free application, support for tournament management staff by CUzo, information information at the venue, heat countermeasure wear for workers, and high-efficiency Wi-Fi technology.

6 Torch Relay

Kirari! Track & Stage, Grand Bot, Makeover Kabuki, Sponsor Stop

This is a reference to the technology of the torch relay system. Using Kirari!, an ultra-high-critical communication technology, the Torch Relay was held all over the country, and a ceremony was held to celebrate the arrival. In the past, it took about a day to set up the stage, but since the torch relay was performed every day by changing the location, it was packaged in one truck, reducing the time of installation work.
