Apple M2 Max 38-core GPU: Graphics card designed by Apple itself in the Apple M2 Max SoC and, according to Apple, with all 38 cores.

These graphics cards should be able to display all modern games smoothly. However, demanding games have to be played in medium details. Older and less demanding games like the Sims series can be played smoothly even in high details.

M2 Max: System on a Chip (SoC) from Apple with 12 processor cores (8 performance and 4 energy saving cores), a 30 or 38 core GPU and a 16 core Neural Engine. » Further information is available in our processor comparison Comparison of mobile processors and the processor benchmark list.

16.20″:

15-16 inches is the standard display size for notebooks and offers the greatest variety of products.

Large screen sizes allow for higher resolutions and/or better recognition of details (e.g. larger font). Smaller display diagonals, on the other hand, consume less energy, are often cheaper and allow for handier, lighter devices.

2.16kg:

Notebooks with a 14-16 inch display diagonal usually have this weight.

Apple: Apple Inc. is a United States-based company, since 1976, that manufactures computers and consumer electronics, as well as operating systems and application software. What can be said about their notebooks is that they are predominantly in the high-price segment, have their own operating system, but also run Windows on the newer Macbooks.

Steve Jobs on the origin of the name ‘Apple’: “We were three months behind on registering our company name at the time, and I threatened to name the company ‘Apple Computer’ if no one came up with a more interesting name by five o’clock. I hoped fueling creativity. But the name stuck. And that’s why we’re called ‘Apple’ today.”

The 2007 IDC study put Apple in fifth place among all PC manufacturers worldwide with a market share of 5.7 percent. Since 2011, Apple has been considered the most valuable company in the world, at least at times, and has consistently been in the top 10 of the world’s top-grossing companies ever since.

In the laptop segment, Apple’s market share was 9.3% in 2014 and 10.3% in 2016. The latter corresponds to 5th place. In the smartphone segment, Apple was at 15.3% in the first quarter of 2016 and had thus lost market share compared to 18.3% in the same quarter of the previous year. Nevertheless, Apple was in second place behind Samsung in both years.

There are tons of reviews of Apple laptops, smartphones and tablets. The ratings are well above average (2016).
