For the new M2 MacBook Air, the 14″ MacBook Pro and the 16″ MacBook Pro 2021, Brydge will be offering the new one from autumn Bridge ProDock on. This is a docking station for the MacBook that sets up the device, charges it and provides numerous ports.

The MacBook is placed upright in the dock. A sleeve is available for each model so that the corresponding MacBook fits perfectly in the dock. It is then charged with 90 watts of power delivery. In addition, the following ports are available:


  • 3x Thunderbolt 4
  • 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2
  • 1x Gigabit Ethernet
  • 1x 3.5mm audio
  • 1x USB-C
  • 1x SD card reader

Practical: You can also charge your iPhone wirelessly. A MagSafe-compatible charging pad is attached to the side. There is probably no real MagSafe here, but iPhones with MagSafe are automatically positioned correctly.

The Brydge ProDock will be made available in autumn of this year, but it remains to be seen whether the dock will also be launched in Germany at that time. Brydge quotes the price as $399.
