The next-gen MacBook Pro is rumored to be officially unveiled on Tuesday, March 8, along with a new iPad and next-gen iPhone SE. Now the below embedded image is up AppleFirst appeared showing Apple’s comparison website, which already lists the new model.

At this point it has to be emphasized that this leak should be viewed with a good pinch of skepticism, because some of the information contradicts previous rumors that Apple is making hardly any changes apart from the new ARM SoC. According to this leak, the notebook comes with a design that resembles the 14-inch MacBook Pro (approx. 2,000 euros on Amazon) including narrow bezels and a notch that houses a 1080p webcam.

Despite the narrower bezels, the display stays at 13.3 inches diagonally, which would result in a smaller body. The screen should even use a mini-LED backlight, as the “Liquid Retina XDR Display” specification shows, which is also used on the screen of the more expensive models. The main memory in the top model is doubled to 32 GB.

The battery life increases from 20 to 22 hours, the weight only increases by around 40 grams. The leak speaks of a price of 1,499 US dollars for the basic model, but the equipment of this variant is still unclear. For comparison, the current 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,299 in the US, and the 14-inch model at $1,999.
