Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has written about numerous Macs in his recent posts spoken. A new MacBook Pro with an OLED display should be the first Mac with a touchscreen in 2025. Gurman said that Apple engineers are “actively involved in the project,” suggesting the company is “seriously considering” producing touchscreen Macs. The first touchscreen MacBook Pro would retain the traditional design of a laptop with a trackpad and keyboard, but the display would gain touch input support.
M2 MacBook Pro delayed again
According to a report by DigiTimes the 14″ and 16″ models of the M2 MacBook Pro, which should actually be on the market in early 2023, should be delayed again. An exact timeframe is not given, Bloomberg recently reported that the models should appear in the first half of the year. Apart from the chip upgrade, no innovations are expected.
M2 Mac Pro shows itself in tests
Mark Gurman reports in his last tweetsthat Apple is testing a new version of the Mac Pro with macOS 13.3. A release of this version is planned for spring, so it seems logical that Apple will also present the M2 Mac Pro at an event in spring. The new Mac Pro is expected to feature Apple’s new M2 Ultra chip, but a higher-end “M2 Extreme” chip has reportedly been dropped. Earlier this week, Gurman said that the new Mac Pro the same design like the 2019 model will have.
