That Twelve South BookBook has been on the market for around 10 years and is still very popular. The special thing about the BookBook covers: Thanks to their vintage leather style, they can hardly be distinguished from an old book and could therefore be pushed unobtrusively on a bookshelf, among other things.

After Apple presented the new M1 MacBook Pro with a 14″ and 16″ display in October last year, the great Twelve South BookBook is now also available for these Mac models. Nothing has changed in the actual system, but the size has been slightly adjusted.

Twelve South writes:

BookBook is one of the most iconic MacBook cases out there. On the go, your MacBook looks like a weathered book, providing stealth and security. When you open it in a meeting, the room freezes to take in the unexpected shell protecting your state-of-the-art MacBook inside. In a world where everything is the same, the BookBook is truly something special.

The latest edition for 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros features a strong, shatterproof back, a hidden portfolio pocket and a clever suspension system that keeps all straps off the screen.

The advantage: the MacBook Pro does not have to be removed from the case. You can open the case with the zipper and flip up the lid. The case does not open completely over small straps.

The Twelve South BookBook is not cheap, both the variant for the 14″ and 16″ model costs $79.99. A new edition for the upcoming MacBook Air with M2 processor is also in the works. As soon as the products are available in this country, we will let you know.
