There’s also a new 12-megapixel autofocus selfie sensor. This function is found for the first time in an iPhone. In addition, the new iPhones were equipped with an SOS system that calls for help in an emergency via a satellite connection.
iPhone 14 Pro: New processor and Dynamic Island
In addition to the normal iPhones, there is also the Pro version, which contains other innovations. Apple is installing its new A16 Bionic processor here, which is supposed to work a good bit faster than the A15 version that works in the normal iPhone 14.
Visually, the 6.1-inch iPhone Pro 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone Pro 14 Max differ from their predecessors: the notch is gone. In its place appears a pill-shaped cutout that Apple calls Dynamic Island. In addition to the selfie camera and sensors, it can now be used for notifications. Apple also offers its Pro customers more when it comes to the camera setup, including a new 48-megapixel main camera. In addition, there is finally an always-on display.
O2 Grow: Tariff that grows with you in an iPhone bundle
Anyone who wants to own an Apple iPhone 14 – be it Plus, Pro, Pro Max or the normal version – should take a look at the smartphone tariff combinations at O2. The cell phone provider puts together attractive bundles with the new cell phone. The iPhone 14 is available in the growing O2 Grow tariff from just EUR 49.99 per month and a one-time connection price of EUR 39.99. A deposit of just one euro is required for the device itself.
The latter applies to all iPhone 14 models with the O2 tariff – including the iPhone 14 Plus, which is available with the Grow tariff from EUR 54.99 per month. For the two devices of the Pro version, there are monthly costs of at least 59.99 euros (iPhone 14 Pro) or 64.99 euros (iPhone 14 Pro Max). The new iPhones will be available from September 16, 2022.
The O2 Grow tariff not only allows access to the fast 5G network, but also offers an innovative concept: In the first year, the customer receives 40 gigabytes of volume included – a decent quota. But 10 gigabytes are added every year. The monthly volume grows to a maximum of 240 gigabytes per month if you stay with it for 20 years.
