Strong demand for the iPhone 14, especially the two Pro models, is giving Foxconn, Apple’s most important supplier, a financial boost. On Tuesday, the company released the monthly Sales report for September (via CNBC), showing that it had sales of over 822 billion Taiwan dollars this month alone – up 83.18 percent from August and even 40.39 percent year-on-year.
While Foxconn only mentions a “new product launch and smooth mass production” as the driving force behind this record sales in its monthly reports, analyst Neil Shah from the market research institute “Counterpoint Research” assumes that these record numbers are solely due to the huge demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max to thank.
While no company in Apple’s supply chain can or wants to talk about specific sales figures, this report corresponds to previous information from insider circles.
