Accessory maker Incipio may be a little late, but it has now unveiled a new line of MagSafe-compatible cases for the iPhone 14 generation: AeroGrip. The back cases are available with a transparent back with a contrast available in three colors, namely black, navy blue and lavender and for all four iPhone 14 models.
Inspired by aerospace engineering, the design of the Incipio AeroGrip cases has a style all of its own. The back cases are designed to protect the iPhone from accidents such as bumps and falls from heights of up to six meters and are made from recycled material. An enlarged grip area on the sides is intended to ensure a secure and more ergonomic grip, and there are also raised edges to protect both the display and the camera lenses from bumps and scratches. The manufacturer’s Impact Struts technology absorbs the force of a strong impact through the shell.
Anti-scratch and antimicrobial protection
In addition to the protective factors, the AeroGrip series from Incipio also offers other practical features: The case is not only compatible with Apple’s MagSafe via a corresponding magnetic ring, but is also made of scratch- and discoloration-resistant material. The latter also has antimicrobial protection that prevents and eliminates 99.9 percent of germs and bacteria on the surface of the back cover.
Incipio’s new AeroGrip range is already listed on the accessory manufacturer’s EU website and is there for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max available in three different colors at a price of 59.99 euros each. The 9to5Mac team has already examined the new cases in a video review, which we then included for you.
