). The author captioned his photo as follows: “Have no illusions, two small and two large, no mini.” This certainly relates to the earlier rumors that Apple plans to discontinue its Mini line of iPhones. According to different estimates, the iPhone 12 and 13 Mini sold very poorly.

What is still evident from the picture are the dimensions of the cameras, especially in the case of the Pro models. If the cases are real, more precisely if they are based on the real iPhone prototypes, the camera section should be larger compared to the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 Pro (the third case from the left) in particular shows how large the camera module is. On the iPhone 13 Pro, the camera takes up about half of the width of the back, on the iPhone 14 Pro the camera cutout visibly protrudes further.

A larger camera surface on the back is due to the changes inside: According to several sources, Apple wants to give its Pro series a revised camera with a larger sensor, and the camera should possibly trigger 48 megapixels. However, it’s not clear what the camera will look like on the entry-level iPhone 14. With the iPhone 12, Apple opted for a vertical arrangement of the two cameras, with the iPhone 13 it switched to a diagonal arrangement. This special design had technical reasons:

The leaks from suppliers and peripheral manufacturers are therefore nothing unusual for this time of year, and in previous years they also began in early summer
