Iphone 14 | iPhone 14 and 14 Pro: cameras, action mode and more in the test video | apple iphone

Watch the video: iPhone 14 and 14 Pro: cameras, action mode and other innovations in the test video.

With its new iPhone 14, Apple has once again focused on the cameras.

In the test, the iPhone 14 Pro in particular shows impressive pictures.

The video camera has also been upgraded.

The so-called “Action Mode” is new. If there is enough light, the iPhone automatically compensates for wobbles caused by movement.

In the test it works very well. However, the effect varies depending on the situation.

When it comes to day shots, the image quality of the three models hardly differs from each other. The videos are rich in detail and colourfast. At night the picture changes. Thanks to its larger image sensor, the iPhone 14 pro captures significantly more detail.

Also new: the selfie camera now comes with an autofocus. If, for example, a second person comes into the picture, this is also focused in no time.

As with its predecessors, the iPhone 14 comes with two lenses with two zoom levels. The iPhone 14 Pro gets a fourth zoom level for the first time. With a trick, it can not only zoom in three times, but also offers a lossless intermediate step with two times zoom.

Another innovation of the Pro model is the so-called Dynamic Island. Here the hole widens to include the front camera with additional information such as controlling audio content. Incoming calls are also displayed there.

The always-on display is also new. The iPhone 14 Pro does not switch off completely, but continues to display information in a dimmed manner. A tap wakes it up fully again.

Apple presented the new models at an event in early September 2022 under the motto “Far Out” in Cupertino. In addition to new iPhones, the group also presented new Apple Watch models – including the Apple Watch Ultra.
