“iPhone 14 Plus” as the name for the large standard model?
Leaked images of iPhones and accessories often first appear on Chinese microblogging service Weibo. There is about one contribution that shows all sorts of photos of peripheral devices – one of the pictures is particularly interesting: It is supposed to show the cases of the four versions of the iPhone 14. In fact, the cases shown coincide with the rumors that have been circulated so far. Unsurprisingly, the cases for the Pro devices have a third cut-out for a telephoto lens – this distinction can also be found in the current series. The name of the model that was previously called “iPhone 14 Pro” is interesting. The caption in the photo, on the other hand, reads “iPhone 14 Plus”. The naming would probably not be consistent within the line-up, but Apple has repeatedly used the term “Plus” in the past – for the first time with the iPhone 6 Plus in 2014.

The leaker DuanRui picked up the picture on Twitter – DuanRui was surprisingly correct with his most recent predictions about the MacBook Pro M2.
The leaker does not provide any further information. Most recently, the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo referred to a remarkable rumor: Apple will only give the latest A chip to the Pro offshoots of the iPhone in the future (see here).
