In September we will probably see four new iPhone models, including the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. According to a report by Mark Gurman (reported for the US medium Bloomberg), Apple could introduce a function with iOS 16 that is available on the two devices mentioned ensures an always-on display. If desired, the iPhone could then display certain information even when it is locked. Gurman says the iPhone version of this mode could work similarly to Apple Watch Series 5 and later.

Say: iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max reduce the frame rate of the lock screen when always-on mode is activated to save energy while the display remains on. Apple is sure to announce a whole host of other changes at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 6th. We only recently reported that iPadOS 16 could have innovations that would then ensure that the size of windows could be adjusted.
