Iphone 14 | iPhone 14 Pro: Confusion about alleged hands-on test | apple iphone

from Sarah Petzold
News of an alleged hands-on test with the new iPhone 14 Pro, which apparently caused problems with the smartphone’s camera, is doing the rounds on the Internet. We summarize what the leak is all about.

A few weeks before the predicted launch event for Apple’s iPhone 14, a leaker published a supposed hands-on report for the iPhone 14 Pro, which raises some questions. According to the report, the new iPhone still suffers from problems affecting the smartphone’s 48 MP camera.

The battery and speakers are probably better than the predecessor

The leaker LeaksApplePro has published detailed details from said report on Twitter. Overall, the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is said to be a viable upgrade over the iPhone 13 Pro (Max), but the 48MP camera seems to have issues with night shots. The sensor is the best on the market in good light conditions, but there is a need for optimization in night mode. There are noticeable image disturbances here, which means that the camera is worse than that of the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) in this respect.

In addition, the leaker revealed the following details about the iPhone 14 Pro (Max):

  • The battery apparently lasts a few hours longer than the previous model.
  • Apple improved the speakers (more bass, clearer sound).
  • Display quality remains the same.

To what extent the LeaksApplePro report is credible can hardly be assessed at the current time. We cannot verify his source, so you should take his statements with a healthy dose of skepticism. If everything goes according to plan, we won’t have to wait too long for the final specifications of the iPhone 14 anyway, because Apple is expected to present the new smartphones to the public in the first or second week of September 2022.
