The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could have another advantage over the standard variants. As we know so far, the Pro models should get faster RAM. The latest leak on the iPhone supports this statement.

According to DigiTimes, Apple could equip the iPhone 14 Pro (and Pro Max) with a different type of RAM. The current iPhone 13 Pro series uses 6 GB LPDDR4X. The upcoming iPhone 14 Pro, on the other hand, should take advantage of the newer LPDDR5, which is already found in most gaming phones. It is more efficient, faster and at the same time offers more flexibility in the technical structure.
Even the non-Pro models of the iPhone 14 are said to come with 6GB of RAM. According to the leak, however, they will be equipped with the current LPDDR4X storage class, which has been used since the iPhone 8. Regardless of the type, the iPhone 14 is said to be faster than the current base iPhone models with just 4 GB of RAM.
Other advantages of the iPhone 14 Pro over the “normal” iPhone 14
The Pro version should not only get the newer RAM, but also be equipped with an Apple A16 chipset. Not much is known about the main differences in terms of speed and efficiency compared to the A15. Another distinguishing feature is said to be the new 48 MP main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro duo. If true, it would be one of the biggest leaps forward we’ve seen in the iPhone in a long time. For years, Apple relied on a 12 MP sensor – we all know that the number of megapixels is not everything.
All these innovations of the upcoming iPhones could mean a price increase: for the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1 TB of storage, a price of 1700 dollars is assumed in the USA!
