Since the iPhone 14 family went on sale, there have been increasing reports that the non-Pro models are selling moderately, while the Pro models are in particularly high demand. Exactly this thesis is now underpinned once again by analyst Ming Chi Kuo.
Kuo: iPhone 14 Pro Max very popular – further differentiation likely in the future
The renowned analyst Ming Chi Kuo has repeatedly demonstrated his very good Apple contacts in the past. Now he gives an assessment of the sales of the iPhone 14 family and also looks to the coming year.
Kuo predicted last week that Apple would ramp up production of the iPhone 14 models. Now he is talking about the fact that the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max in particular can show very good sales figures. According to this, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is said to be responsible for 60 percent of the increase in orders for the Pro models.

For the analyst, it is conceivable that Apple will give the iPhone 15 Pro Max more exclusive features to encourage even more users to rely on the largest and most expensive model. This naturally results in a higher average iPhone retail price. Mark Gurman could well imagine Apple marketing the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max as the iPhone 15 Ultra. Apple is rumored to be using USB-C and a periscope camera for the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro.
