Iphone 14 | iPhone 14 Pro: Not even Samsung can keep up with one feature | apple iphone

Apple received extensive criticism for the release of the iPhone 14. However, the two Pro models of the new series are quite impressive. There is one point in particular that stands out iPhone 14 Pro and the Pro Max stand out significantly from the competition. Neither Google nor Samsung can compete with that through their flagships.

iPhone 14 Pro: Capacity isn’t everything

The new iPhone Pro comes with a variety of new features. In terms of software, it boasts the full functionality of iOS 16. But the smartphone also makes a lot in terms of hardware. The battery stands out in particular, or rather its running time. As part of an extensive test, PhoneArena compared the flagships of Apple, Samsung and Google. Specifically, the following devices had to undergo the test:

model battery capacity
iPhone 14 Pro 3,200mAh
iPhone 14 Pro Max 4,323mAh
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5,000mAh
Google Pixel 6 Pro 5,000mAh
Google Pixel 7 4,355mAh
Google Pixel 7 Pro 5,000mAh

Apple cell phones have the smallest batteries compared to their competitors. However, this is by no means reflected in the runtime of the smartphones. As the PhoneArena test shows, Samsung and Google can’t fool the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) on this point.

Apple prioritizes energy efficiency

The Pro Max leads the group with a runtime of 19 hours and five minutes. In addition to the battery itself, the energy efficiency of the other hardware also plays an important role. This is also reflected in the battery of the new Pro model. Along with all five other devices, it has by far the lowest battery capacity.

Nevertheless, the iPhone 14 Pro takes second place with a runtime of 16 hours and 18 minutes – and is still around two hours ahead of the Pixel 7 Pro (14 hours and 19 minutes). The remaining three competitors can’t hold a candle to Apple either.

The Google Pixel 7 achieves 13 hours and 56 minutes, Samsung’s S22 Ultra only 13 hours and 17 minutes and the Pixel 6 Pro just 13 hours and 13 minutes.
