The iPhone 14 Pro has an even larger rear camera, which poses an even bigger problem for those who own or plan to use such a charger.
Users have the problem in the official Apple support forum reported. They report that although the iPhone 14 Pro can be charged with MagSafe Duo, the device does not lie flat, but is slightly raised in some places. People who have a phone case with a larger bump in the camera area may be forced to remove it before placing the iPhone on the charger. The other models of the iPhone 14 are not affected by the problem. With the normal iPhone 14 the camera cutout is small enough to provide enough space for MagSafe Duo. The two larger variants, iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max, have loud 9to5Mac enough space on the back of the case anyway.
Apple introduced MagSafe Duo in 2020 as an option to charge an iPhone and an Apple Watch at the same time. Since then, however, the US group has never presented a new version of the charger.
