Over the past few months, countless rumors and leaks about the expected iPhone 14 series have become public. They revolved around details of the new models, including the displays, colors the devices will come in, and even their prices. A leak now even shows how the batteries of the iPhone 14 and its companion models could be set up.
iPhone 14 (Pro): battery capacities leaked
Like most leaks, the newly released information should be treated with caution. Because Apple itself has so far hardly announced anything official about its new flagship series. Still, there are some sources that are more reliable than others, including leakers.
For example, the pseudonymous Twitter user ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco) has proven to be mostly reliable in the past. It seems all the more exciting when he shares new information, such as the battery capacity of the upcoming models.
Citing a post on the Chinese social network Baidu, the user shares the sizes in one tweet:
- iPhone 14: 3,278mAh
- iPhone 14 Max: 4,325mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro: 3,200mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4,323mAh

In the case of the Pro model, there is even a 3.4 percent increase. However, it is unclear whether this will also be reflected in the term of the new devices.
After all, the developer from Cupertino, California, is planning some innovations that could also put a significant strain on the battery. It seems all the more surprising that the capacity of the Pro Max actually decreases compared to that of its predecessor. On the 14 Max, it remains more or less unchanged.
For now, whether we like it or not, we have to be satisfied with rumors that are difficult to verify. Official information will probably only go public at the Apple event on September 13th.
