Iphone 14 | iPhone 14 will probably get A15 bionic chip with improved performance | apple iphone

from Sarah Petzold
Apple apparently plans to launch the iPhone 14 with an improved A15 Bionic chip. The new smartphones should therefore have a performance increase compared to the previous iPhone 13 model.

Even if only the Pro models of the iPhone 14 will be equipped with the new A16 chip generation and the normal versions rely on the A15 Bionic chip, as was already used in the iPhone 13, there is good news for iPhone fans. Because even the cheaper versions of the 2022 iPhones will probably show a performance increase compared to the previous generation.

Only iPhone 14 Pro with A16 chip, but still more performance with other models

Both industry insider Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman assume that Apple will only release the iPhone 14 Pro models with the new A16 Bionic chip. However, concrete indications are now circulating that while Apple intends to equip the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max with the A15 Bionic chip, the chip is an improved version with more power, such as “ShrimpApplePro” writes on Twitter.

The design of the chip remains largely the same, but small detail improvements should provide a performance boost. After all, the iPhone 14 also has 2 GB more RAM than the iPhone 13, which should also lead to a plus in performance. The new modem with its comparatively low energy requirement should also play its part.

How big the performance difference between the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 14 and within the iPhone 14 series will be will probably be announced in autumn 2022. Apple plans to officially unveil the new iPhones in September this year, so we could know more in a few weeks.
