S1 Pro imitates iPhone 14 Pro
The S1 Pro from the Chinese manufacturer LeEco stands out with one special feature: It imitates the iPhone 14 Pro in many ways. This is particularly evident with the rear-mounted camera module and the pill-shaped cut-out for the front camera, which resembles the Dynamic Island of Apple’s flagship models. In fact, the manufacturer is also promoting a software-side implementation of the feature that mimics the iPhone feature in terms of user interface. The clone is particularly strange with the main camera: This does its job with a 13-megapixel sensor, but is not supported by other lenses – the two other cut-outs are only for decoration.
Sparse equipment
In view of the price of around 124 euros, users also have to make a number of cuts when it comes to the functions: In contrast to the original, a conventional LC display with a refresh rate of 60 Hertz is used. Speaking of the display: the 6.5-inch panel offers a resolution of just 1,600 x 728 pixels. The processor is the Zhanrui T7510, and the device is also equipped with 128 gigabytes of memory and eight gigabytes of RAM. Buyers also have to do without facial recognition, instead there is a fingerprint sensor on the side of the device. There is no access to Google Play services, but Huawei Mobile Services are available.
