Instead of the display, customers have to remove the back to get inside the case, as was the case with the iPhone 4. This makes it much easier to replace a cracked glass back or a defective Qi charging coil, which should also partly explain why this repair costs only 199 euros for the iPhone 14 but 599 euros for the iPhone 14 Pro. However, replacing the screen requires removing far more components than before, making the process significantly more difficult.
After all, repairs such as replacing the battery or replacing the dual camera should be able to be carried out just as quickly as with the iPhone 13. A complete teardown of the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus has not yet been published, but the photo already shows it quite well clear that the inner workings have not changed significantly compared to the iPhone 13. This is not surprising, because there are only minor differences in the specifications, Apple continues to use the A15 Bionic and a dual camera, the battery is only slightly larger.
