Iphone 14 | Slow seller or insider tip? That’s what the Apple iPhone 14 Plus does | apple iphone

In the test, the Apple iPhone 14 Plus shows almost identical measurement results as the normal iPhone 14 (to test). No wonder – it only differs from the “standard” iPhone in terms of the size of the display and the size of the battery.

Texts on the huge 6.7-inch OLED screen can be read comfortably even under difficult lighting conditions thanks to rich contrasts and strong maximum brightness. Unfortunately, the display only offers a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. The iPhone 14 Plus appears slower than the Pro models when scrolling and smearing effects can become visible.

Apple does not install the current processor in the iPhone 14 Plus, but relies on the A15 Bionic, which was already used in the iPhone 13 models. The CPU also ensures extremely strong performance in the Plus model. The performance is easily sufficient for all apps and games that can be found in the app store.

The 12-megapixel dual camera was also taken over from the predecessor. We therefore did not notice any significant changes in the image quality of the main camera in the test. Anyone who pays attention to the camera should therefore take a look at the premium models iPhone 14 Pro (to test) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (to test) throw. Because Apple is installing a new 48-megapixel main sensor here.

The rest of the equipment is impressive: The iPhone 14 Plus shows off a very long battery life in the test. The battery (4,325 mAh capacity) lasted a very strong 17:51 hours in the endurance test with a fixed display brightness (200 candelas per square meter) including internet surfing in the LTE network. And the housing is IP68-certified, which means it is proven to be dust-proof and waterproof.
