The iPhone 14 can be charged with a maximum of 23 watts via Lightning cable, so a full charging process takes around two hours, which is nine minutes shorter than the iPhone 13. Wireless charging via MagSafe theoretically works with up to 20 watts, which drops after a few minutes However, the power is reduced to 7.5 watts in order to keep the temperature of the battery under control.

A full charge takes almost three hours, half an hour longer than the previous model. The iPhone 14 gets from DxOMark a rating of 112 points – that’s just enough for 53rd place on the list of the best. Even Apple’s comparatively efficient hardware cannot work miracles with the small 3,279 mAh battery.
