Apple has not yet commented on this issue. If it’s a software issue, it’s unclear if the issue is with the apps or with iOS 16, but it shouldn’t be long before a fix is available. In the below embedded video by Luke Miani, the problem is shown in detail from minute 09:12. Since Luke Miani tested two iPhone 14 Pro Max, he was also able to verify that the problem does not affect all devices, but the affected device was damaged, so affected customers should contact Apple immediately.
