Darmstadt and Mainz switch to 2G – FFH.de

Second division soccer club SV Darmstadt 98 will tighten its corona protective measures again and in future only allow fans into the stadium according to the 2G rule (vaccinated and recovered). The lilies announced this on Friday.

There are exceptions for children and regularly tested schoolchildren as well as for those who have not been vaccinated with a doctor’s certificate stating that they cannot be vaccinated. So far, the Südhessen had practiced 2G in parts of the stadium and 3G in other parts (vaccinated, recovered or currently being tested).

The rule applies to Düsseldorf in the last home game of the year

The last home game of this year will be played against Fortuna Düsseldorf on December 3rd. Then, as before, in the entire stadium area – including seated or standing areas – a mask is required.

In addition to the 2G regulation, Mainz 05 also reduced the standing room in the stadium

Bundesliga club Mainz 05 is also switching to a 2G rule. In addition, the standing room will be reduced by 25 percent and in the case of the seats in the ground floor blocks, every second seat will remain free, even under 2-G conditions, so that there will still be seats available at a distance. The mask can only be removed from the seat.

Refund for holders of a 3G card for Mainz home games

The regulations apply to the Mainz home games on December 4th against VfL Wolfsburg and on December 14th against Hertha BSC Berlin. The club also mediates that those who have already bought a 3-G ticket for these games will automatically be reimbursed the purchase price by the end of the coming week.
