Ingelsson & Froling – Hansa’s Swedes are slowly thawing – Soccer

These Swedes give hope!

Svante Ingelsson (23) and Nils Fröling (21) provide the bright spots in Hansa’s weakening offensive. In the 0-0 draw against Heidenheim, the duo made a lot of progress despite the lack of a goal.

Fröling in particular, who was signed by the Swedish first division club Kalmar in the winter, is thawing. The left winger after his debut: “It’s getting better every day. I get to know the processes of my teammates. We created a couple of good chances, but we have to be more precise in the penalty area.” Coach Jens Härtel (52) praised the U21 international: “Nils indicated that he could strengthen us. He had good one-on-one situations and dribbling, worked back diligently.”

Compatriot Ingelsson, who came from Paderborn in the summer, is also showing increasing form. The central midfielder even had the winning goal in his short game against Heidenheim. Haertel: “He brought a breath of fresh air and speed.”

What Hansa’s new Swedes are missing from their famous predecessors (Wibran, Prica, Lantz, Arvidsson) are goals and assists.
