Apple | Apple is said to be planning MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max by the end of 2022 | macbook

The new MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors was only released last year. The successor model is now scheduled to arrive in autumn 2022.

The journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, who has very good contacts to Apple’s suppliers, reports in his weekly newsletter that Apple plans to introduce the M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro chips in the fall. This doesn’t seem technically necessary to us at all, but Apple has formally specified the chip clock. After the M2 appeared in the spring, there seems to be no holding back, even if it is only a fairly small improvement over the M1.

According to the report, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 chips are already in the works. Gurman reports that the design and functionality of the devices will not differ from the MacBook Pro with M1. That’s understandable too: the design is new, the webcam and display are good, the Magsafe charging option and SD card slot are flawless, and the HDMI port is a nice touch, even though many displays now have USB-C.

According to Gurmann, the new Pro and Max versions of the M2 should have improved, especially in the graphics area. This should be of particular interest to professional users who deal with video editing and certain programming work.

Should there be significant delivery problems, the MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max could not appear until spring 2023, Gurman points out.

Would you be interested in a MacBook Pro M2? What would be an exciting purpose for you? Feel free to write something about it in the comments below this message, we are very excited.
