While we’re all wondering when Apple will give the last remaining Intel Mac an M-chip upgrade with the Mac Pro, Apple’s first concern is a new generation of its own Pro laptops. We were able to test the 14-inch model with Apple’s brand new M2 Pro chip before it went on sale on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
There is not much to say about the appearance of the new MacBook Pro generation. Apple sticks one to one to the design of the previous model. With good reason: after the presentation of the MacBook Pro models with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chip, we had nothing to complain about. At least apart from the detail we’ve been complaining about for years – we’re missing a (matte) black MacBook in Apple’s lineup. But even in 2023 we will have to settle for the choice between light gray (silver) and dark gray (space grey)…
