iPhone 14 with satellite emergency call

Satellite Emergency Call allows iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models to send a message to emergency services via a satellite link in “ideal conditions with a direct view of the sky and horizon.” Apple says it can take up to 15 seconds to send the message in good conditions, but longer in worse conditions. You can test the Emergency Satellite feature in supported regions by going to Settings -> Emergency SOS -> Try Demo. This way you can learn how to align your iPhone to a satellite and operate the SOS notification interface so you know what to do if you run into trouble in the future. (Image: Apple)
