The Apple community should be looking forward to the new MacBook Pro: Along with the new devices, Apple is launching two new M1 chips that, according to the manufacturer, should take performance to a new level.
The standard models are now available.
You can now order the new MacBook Pro in two sizes (14 or 16 inches) and in the two familiar colors Space Gray or Silver. Equipped with the two new chips M1 Pro and M1 Max, the Pros complement the existing M1 range.
When it comes to RAM, the standard models offer a choice of 16GB or 32GB, with the 32GB variant being equipped with the particularly powerful M1 Max chip. Compared to the already improved M1 Pro chip, this has twice as fast graphics processing. The standard 14-inch model packs an 8 or 10 core CPU and a 14 or 16 core GPU, while the standard 16-inch model packs a 10 core CPU and a 16 or 32 core GPU.
Something has also changed in terms of design – the narrower edges and the thin display housing are particularly noticeable here. There are other improvements in battery life, display, camera and audio.
